Premier League: A 16/1 bet builder for Spurs v Chelsea

There is no love lost between Spurs and Chelsea while these two share the best goalscoring record this season so expect a goal-laden feisty affair on Saturday evening

The game of the weekend in the Premier League takes place on Saturday evening, as Spurs and Chelsea do battle at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The hosts are currently six places ahead of their opponents in the table, but only three points separate the London rivals, who are both inside the top 10.

We have come up with a 16/1 Bet Builder to consider for the 5:30 kick-off, as these two rivals meet for the 180th occasion in their history.

Spurs v Chelsea Bet Builder Tips

  • Enzo Fernandez to have 2+ Shots on Target @ 19/4
  • Over 2.5 Goals @ 7/10
  • Over 5.5 Cards @ 7/5

    Pays out at 16/1

Chelsea boosted by key star’s return

Chelsea have certainly been hampered by injuries this season, missing main man Cole Palmer for the majority of the campaign so far.

Enzo Maresca has also been without other key players in recent weeks, but he gave some positive news in Friday’s pre-game press conference.

The likes of Joao Pedro and Moises Caicedo are ready to take their place in the squad, as is Chelsea’s joint-top scorer Enzo Fernandez.

The Argentinian suffered a knee injury during October’s international break and hasn’t been 100% since then, but the midfielder did come off the bench for the last half-hour of the EFL Cup win over Wolves.

Fernandez looks set to start in the clash in north London, as he looks to add to the three goals he has already bagged this term.

It’s also worth noting that the former Benfica man scored in both league meetings between these two teams last season.

Leg 1: Enzo Fernandez to have 2+ Shots on Target @ 19/4

Goals on the agenda

Nobody has scored more Premier League goals than Tottenham and Chelsea this term, with both Spurs and the Blues finding the net 17 times in their opening nine games.

Maresca’s men have scored 15 goals in their last five matches in all competitions, including four in the midweek EFL Cup success at Wolves.

Tottenham have scored in all but one of their six home games this term and have found the net in their last three home encounters with Chelsea.

This fixture has also provided plenty of goals in the last couple of seasons, with Maresca’s men winning on their last two visits to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Last season, the visitors won a seven-goal thriller 4-3 and it was a 4-1 victory for Chelsea in the November 2023 meeting.

Leg 2: Over 2.5 Goals @ 7/10

Rivals often provide a feisty affair

There is no love lost between these two teams and that is highlighted by the card stats in recent seasons.

There were 10 cautions when the teams last met, in a 1-0 Chelsea win at Stamford Bridge back in April, while five yellows were handed out in this fixture.

The previous season’s clash at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium led to six yellows and two red cards – when Cristian Romero and Destiny Udogie were both dismissed.

Leg 3: Over 5.5 Cards @ 7/5
