DC United to beat Chicago Fire
Wayne Rooney’s brace against New York City helped DC United to a 3-1 victory that secured their spot in the play-offs last Sunday.
That was DC’s fifth straight league victory and ninth match without defeat.
Chicago are second-bottom in the Eastern Conference. They have lost three of their last four matches and won just two in 15.
Dallas to beat Colorado Rapids
Dallas need a win to have any chance of securing a favourable draw in the play-offs and they should get it at their out-of-form hosts.
Colorado will finish the season second bottom of the Western Conference and have lost seven of their last nine.
Their only victory in that period came against Minnesota United and have lost their last three home games by an aggregate score of 12-0.
Columbus Crew to beat Minnesota United
Columbus need a victory to confirm their place in the end-of-season play-offs and their impressive home record suggests this will be as one-sided at the price suggests.
The hosts have won five games in a six-match unbeaten run at the MAPFRE Stadium and should cruise past the worst travellers in the MLS.
Minnesota have taken just two points from their last 13 away games in the league and have nothing to play for.
New York City to beat Philadelphia Union
New York have just one victory in their last nine league games, but their decent home form should means they finish the season off with three points.
Chris Armas’ side have lost just one of their last 16 matches at Yankee Stadium.
Philadelphia lost 1-0 to New York Red Bulls last weekend and have won just three of their last eight matches in all competitions.
Atlanta United to beat Toronto
Atlanta are top of the Eastern Conference and a victory will ensure they win the 2018 Supporters’ Shield.
They have the best travelling record in the MLS and have won nine of their last 12 league games.
Toronto have lost seven of their last nine league games and, with nothing left to play for, should be next in line for Atlanta.
