LA Galaxy battled back from behind to beat Orlando 4-3 last time out, thanks to Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s hat-trick.
That was the Galaxy’s fourth victory in five matches and their seventh game without defeat.
Colorado Rapids were beaten by the Eastern Conference’s bottom side DC United last Sunday and have won just two of their last 16 matches in the MLS.
Real Salt Lake to beat Chicago Fire (03:00) –
Real Salt Lake held to a second consecutive draw in their last match against the Western Conference’s bottom side San Jose.
But their impressive home record should ensure a return to form, having won 13 of their last 16 league games at the Rio Tinto Stadium.
Chicago have lost five league games away from home and have won just two points in their last six matches on the road.
Portland Timbers to beat Philadelphia Union (04:00) –
Portland extended their unbeaten run to 14 league games with a 2-1 victory over Houston Dynamo last weekend.
That result was their 12th home win in 16 MLS games and ninth without defeat.
The Timbers should notch another victory against a Philadelphia side that have won just three competitive away games in 24.
