United should get the victory here. They have beaten Derby in domestic cup competitions in two of the last three seasons, while Jose Mourinho has never lost a home match in this competition.
But Derby are likely to get on the scoresheet. United have conceded in all three of their matches at Old Trafford this campaign, and let one in against Championship side Burton at this stage of the EFL Cup 12 months ago.

Mata hasn’t scored since netting a brace against Leicester in December – a surprising run given he is a capable finisher.
The Spanish playmaker did almost net off the bench against Young Boys last week, though, and can go one better in a match where he is guaranteed to start.

The on-loan Chelsea attacking midfielder scored against Brentford last weekend, taking his tally for the season to five goals.
