Football Tips: Saturday’s BTTS 5-fold

This Saturday's BTTS 5-fold focuses on matches from all four of English football's top four divisions.

After another busy midweek of Champions League and EFL action, the fun continues over the weekend, with the focus here on the action across the top four divisions in English football.

We have picked five games that are likely to see both teams score and combined them into an appealing 12/1 acca.

Saturday BTTS 5-fold

  • Leicester City vs Norwich City @ 8/13

  • Liverpool vs West Ham @ 3/5

  • Queens Park Rangers vs Sheffield United @ 4/6

  • Reading vs Bradford City @ 3/4

  • Colchester vs Salford @ 7/10

Pays 12/1

Leicester City vs Norwich City (Saturday, 12.30pm)

Leicester have shown improvement under Gary Rowett, drawing 2-2 with Stoke and 1-1 at Middlesbrough.

Those results mean both teams have scored in eight of the Foxes’ last nine and the same permutation has landed in two of Norwich’s last three.

The odd one out was in midweek against already-relegated Sheffield Wednesday, so goals could be on the agenda at the King Power Stadium.

Liverpool vs West Ham (Saturday, 3pm)

Liverpool have won their last three in all competitions without conceding, but are still to truly convince this season and could be tested by West Ham.

The Hammers have won only once in their last 52 league visits to Anfield, but have taken 11 points from the last 18 available and can test the Reds.

Both teams have scored in the last four Merseyside meetings in all competitions and that run is expected to continue.

Queens Park Rangers vs Sheffield United (Saturday, 3pm)

Both teams have scored in six of Sheffield United’s last seven games, including last week’s Steel City derby with Wednesday.

They head to Loftus Road, where there have been goals on both sides in 11 of Queens Park Rangers’ last 12 at home.

November’s reverse game finished 0-0, but more excitement seems inevitable on Saturday.

Reading vs Bradford City (Saturday, 3pm)

It is seventh against fourth in Berkshire with Reading hosting Bradford City.

The Royals have had goals on both sides of the scoreboard in eight of their last nine, while the Bantams are excellent defensively at home, but have lost their last four on the road, although they have scored in the most recent two.

Colchester vs Salford (Saturday, 3pm)

Finally, to League Two and Colchester’s clash with Salford.

Both are in the play-off mix and with four points between them, look well-matched, as demonstrated by December’s 4-3 draw at Moor Lane.

That was the fifth meeting in a row in which both teams have scored and the U’s will fancy themselves after beating Barnet 4-1 last week, and the Ammies having lost their last five in all competitions.

They have at least scored in the most recent trio of those reverses and can get a goal at the very minimum.
