Fill your boots: 4 Premier League BTTS tips for your midweek bets

Across three different nights this week, these top-flight matches promise goals at both ends...

Arsenal v Leicester – {ODDS:151687586:1/2}

Arsenal have only failed to score at home in the league once this season, and there is little doubt that they will net in this one.

The Gunners have plundered 11 goals in their last four matches at the Emirates, and have failed to score just once in their last 26.

Leicester, meanwhile, have scored at least twice in every league game under Craig Shakespeare, including three against Liverpool and twice at Everton.

That run of form has included a renaissance for Jamie Vardy, who has scored six goals in his last seven league matches.

Considering the Foxes’ form, they should supplement Arsenal’s inevitable goal with at least one of their own.

Crystal Palace v Tottenham – {ODDS:151688604:13/20}

Despite a run that has included games against Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool, Crystal Palace have lost just one of their last seven matches, scoring in all of them.

And, given they have netted seven times in those three fixtures against top-seven sides, they have every chance of doing so again against Tottenham.

Christian Benteke has scored in his last five outings, and will be hoping to expose a Tottenham defence that has conceded eight goals in its last six games away from White Hart Lane.

Spurs, meanwhile, have scored in all of their last 11 matches, netting 35 goals in total.

Harry Kane has also scored in both of his starts back from injury during the last fortnight.

Both teams to score should be a certainty here, then.

Manchester City v Manchester United – {ODDS:151689119:7/10}

The Manchester derby has not guaranteed goals over the last couple of seasons, but that unwanted trend should change here.

City have only failed to score at home once all season, and have netted six goals in their matches against Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham and Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium.

Reports suggest that Sergio Aguero should recover from injury in time to play here, and his form virtually ensures a home goal.

Manchester United, meanwhile, have scored nine goals in their last four away games, only failing to score in domestic away games at Chelsea and Liverpool this season.

They also have a striker of their own in good form in Marcus Rashford, and should ensure that both sides score.

Chelsea v Southampton – {ODDS:151687104:1/1}

Chelsea remain the Premier League side on the longest run without a clean sheet, and all the evidence points towards that record extending against Southampton.

The Saints have scored in their last seven matches away from St Mary’s – including two against Manchester United and one at Tottenham – to move into the top half of the Premier League.

Manolo Gabbiadini, meanwhile – who returned from injury last time out against Manchester City – has scored six goals for Southampton already, and is a significant threat.

Chelsea, though, have not failed to score in a home match all season so will surely fulfil their side of the bargain here.
