Here are five football tips that Jack Green thinks you should consider for Arsenal v Olympiakos on Thursday night.

Arsenal (-1)

Arsenal’s four Europa League knockout matches at the Emirates last season finished 3-0, 3-0, 2-0 and 3-1, and a similar scoreline looks likely on Thursday night.

Olympiakos were unlucky to lose the first leg 1-0 at home, but they’re not as good a side on the road and lost all three of their Champions League away matches this season by two goals.

Arsenal to keep a clean sheet

Arsenal had kept three consecutive clean sheets before Sunday’s 3-2 win over Everton, including the 1-0 first-leg win in Piraeus.

Olympiakos managed only two shots on target at home and will struggle to penetrate an Arsenal defence that is looking increasingly confident under Mikel Arteta.

Alexandre Lacazette to score

Lacazette ended a nine-game scoring drought with a goal against Newcastle on 16 February and followed that up with the winner in Greece last week.

The Frenchman will surely start on Thursday night after being left out of the 3-2 Premier League win over Everton.

Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang to score a header

Arsenal have no Premier League match this weekend, instead playing Portsmouth in the FA Cup on Monday night, so there’s a decent chance Aubameyang starts in this second leg.

The Gunners’ captain is on a hot streak and has scored two headers in his last three appearances, so this looks a generous price.

Olympiakos to have the most cards

Arsenal have a poor disciplinary record but should be better behaved on Thursday night, particularly with Granit Xhaka and Shkodran Mustafi one booking away from suspension.

Olympiakos had four players booked in the first leg and will have less of the ball as they chase the game at the Emirates, potentially making them more likely to pick up cards.
