European football tips for Sunday 25 11 18

Atalanta to beat Empoli (14:00)

Atalanta extended their winning streak to four matches with a 4-1 win over third-placed Inter last time out.

They should make it five victories on the bounce against Empoli, who have won just two games this season.

The hosts have picked up just five points from their last nine matches.

Montpellier to beat Stade Rennes (14:00)

Montpellier are second in the Ligue 1 form table, having won four and drawn one of their last six matches.

They have won their last four home games in the league to nil, most recently beating Marseille 3-0 earlier this month.

Stade Rennes have won just two of their last nine league games, both of which came against bottom-four sides, Caen and Monaco.

Sevilla to beat Real Valladolid (15:15)

Sevilla’s 2-1 win over Espanyol before the international break was their sixth straight victory at home in all competitions and their sixth win in their last eight league matches.

Los Rojiblancos beat Real Madrid 3-0 in that sequence, while their only defeat came against league leaders Barcelona.

Valladolid have managed just two league victories in six away from home this season and have gone three games without a win.

Borussia Monchengladbach to beat Hannover (17:00)

Borussia Monchengladbach have won five home games out of five in the Bundesliga this season and currently occupy second place.

They signed off for the international break with four victories from their last five matches – a run that includes beating Bayern Munich 3-0 on the road.

Third-bottom Hannover have picked up just one point from their five away games so far and the hosts should ease through this.

Lazio to beat AC Milan (17:00)

Lazio were held to a 1-1 draw away to in-form Sassuolo last time out, but have lost just two of their last 10 league games, against Inter and Roma.

The Biancocelesti have won six of their last seven home games in all competitions and should take three points against under-strength visitors.

AC Milan have lost all three matches they have played against the current top four this season and could be without up to nine players through injuries and suspensions, including Gonzalo Higuain after he was sent off against Juventus last time out.
