European football tips for Saturday 27 10 18

Juventus to beat Empoli to nil (17:00)

Juventus notched their 11th victory in 12 unbeaten matches this season by beating Manchester United 1-0 at Old Trafford in the Champions League in midweek.

Max Allegri’s side have conceded just two goals in their last eight matches and dropped just two points in Serie A this season.

Empoli are without a victory in eight league games and have lost two of their last three to nil.

Den Haag to beat NAC Breda (17:30)

Den Haag lost 2-0 away at VVV last weekend, but they should bounce back at home against a poor NAC Breda side.

Den Haag have won two of their last three home league games, with the exception a defeat to league leaders PSV.

NAC Breda have lost six and drawn one of their last seven Eredivisie matches. They have lost their four away matches so far by an aggregate score of 14-3.

PSV (-1) v Groningen (18:45)

PSV are the safest bet around at the moment, having won their nine Eredivisie matches this season by an aggregate score of 28-1.

The Dutch champions haven’t conceded a goal in their last five league games, the last of which was a 6-0 win over Emmen last weekend.

Groningen have lost six of their last seven games, so -1 looks nailed on at a decent price.

Lille to beat Caen (19:00)

Lille have won their last five home matches and look a great bet to make it six against Caen.

The hosts have scored 14 goals on that run – with Nicolas Pepe scoring in the last two – and conceded just three.

Caen have lost their last two games on the road, going down in nine of their last 12 on the road across this season and last.

Benfica (-1) v Belenenses (20:30)

Benfica have recorded 2-0 and 4-0 victories in two of their three league away games so far this season and can produce something similar here.

Belenenses have lost four of their last six home games, including a 3-0 defeat to Braga last time out.

They have also conceded four goals to Sporting and three to Porto on that run, so Benfica’s run of three clean sheets in four on the road should see them achieve this handicap.
