Bayern Munich are winless in three matches, but it is a matter of time until they turn things around.
All four of the Bundesliga champions’ league victories this season have come by more than one goal, while they have 15 of their last 21 home league matches by at least that margin.
Monchengladbach are without an away win this term, losing 4-2 at Hertha Berlin a fortnight ago, and will struggle to contain their superior hosts.
PSV (-2) v VVV Venlo (18:45)
PSV have won all of their three home league games by at least three goals this season, so it makes sense to back them to repeat the trick at odds-against.
The hosts have won seven of their last eight Eredivise matches at the Philips Stadion by this margin, including a 3-0 victory in this fixture in March.
VVV lost 1-0 at Excelsior last week, and will find it difficult to stop the dominant Dutch champions.
Amiens to beat Dijon (19:00)
Dijon’s 3-0 defeat at Strasbourg last Saturday was their fifth match without a win.
Oliver Dall’Oglio’s side have earned just one point and scored just one goal in that sequence.
Amiens have won two of their last three home games in Ligue 1, including a 2-1 victory over European challengers Rennes, and should be able to capitalise on their visitors’ dreadful form.
Montpellier to win or draw v Guingamp (19:00)
Montpellier have avoided defeat in all seven of their Ligue 1 matches since they lost 2-1 at home to Dijon on the opening day of the season, winning four.
Michel Der Zakarian’s side beat Nimes 3-0 last Sunday, and they’ve taken seven points from their three away matches this term.
It’s hard to see them losing to Guingamp, who are bottom of the table with just four points and have lost three of three at home.
Roma to beat Empoli (19:30)
Roma’s season has exploded into life following a tough start.
The Giallorossi have won each of their last three matches in all competitions with an aggregate score of 12-1, including a 3-1 victory in the Derby della Capitale last Saturday.
Empoli are in the relegation zone after seven league games, having earned just two points in their last six.
