Euro 2016 Qualifying Acca: Five favourites to earn valuable wins on Thursday

Euro 2016 is just nine months away and qualifying is starting to heat up - it is time for the favouriteso shine

8/11 – Wales to beat Cyprus

Wales have been in fine form so far this qualifying campaign and should remain unbeaten to continue leading the group beyond Thursday.

The Dragons have won their last two and have even gone three games without conceding a goal.

Chris Coleman’s side beat Cyprus 2-1 in the reverse fixture and should follow that up with a similar result here.

11/4 – Croatia to beat Azerbaijan

Croatia travel to Azerbaijan top of Group H – leading European giants Italy by two points – and have yet to lose in six qualifying games so far this campaign.

Azerbaijan – with one win in six – have only scored four times and conceded 11 and will struggle to cope with the Croatians here.

The previous meeting ended 6-0 in favour of Croatia and a similar result is expected this time around.

4/9 – Belgium to beat Bosnia

Belgium host Bosnia and Herzegovina looking to catch Wales, who are three points clear of the Red Devils at the top of the standings after six rounds of fixtures.

Fifth-placed Bosnia come into the game on eight points but will struggle to take anything from Stade Roi Baudouin here.

The reverse fixture ended 1-1 in Bosnia, but Belgium are a stronger force at home and the returning Vincent Kompany should lead his side to victory.

1/3 – Netherlands to beat Iceland

The Dutch have been far from convincing in their European qualifying matches so far and their home clash with Iceland is certainly a must-win.

They trail Group A leaders Iceland by five points, but come into the game unbeaten in their last three qualifiers and are a stronger side than their opponents.

The visitors have stunned many with their performances so far, but the Netherlands should gain revenge for their 2-0 loss in Reykjavik, especially having never lost to their opponents on home soil.

2/9 – Turkey to beat Latvia

Turkey, who have eight points from six games and are in fourth, host Latvia needing to win to remain in contention of qualifying for Euro 2016.

A home game with a winless Latvia side should see them pick up three comfortable points.

They are unbeaten in their last three and should cruise past their lowly opponents.
