Champions League tips: 11/1 Bet Builder for Liverpool v Real Madrid

Our Champions League betting tips for this clash between two European giants include plenty of goals, with Kylian Mbappe finding the net once again.

There are some cracking fixtures to look forward to on Tuesday night in the Champions League, and Liverpool v Real Madrid is arguably the highlight.

Arne Slot’s side have struggled so far this season but found some form in a 2-0 win over Aston Villa on Saturday ahead of this huge clash at Anfield.

Real Madrid, meanwhile, have been brilliant all season, winning 13 of 14 matches in all competitions and most recently seeing off Valencia 4-0 at the weekend.

With both sides priced at 6/4 in the football betting and the draw at 14/5, this should be a brilliant European tie and here we have put together an 11/1 Bet Builder.

Liverpool v Real Madrid betting tips

Real Madrid to win or draw /

Liverpool will be hopeful that they put their run of poor form behind them with Saturday’s win over Aston Villa, but they will need to be at their best to beat this Real Madrid side.

Los Blancos have been excellent all season under Xabi Alonso. They’ve scored 17 goals across six away games in all competitions, have won all three of their Champions League games and beat Barcelona recently to go five points clear in La Liga.

Anfield is a daunting proposition on a Champions League night, but it’s hard to trust Liverpool here given they’ve lost six of their last eight matches in all competitions and have looked disjointed all season.

Over 2.5 goals /

Six of Liverpool’s eight home games this season have seen over 2.5 goals scored, and this one looks very likely to be high scoring.

This bet has also landed in five of Real Madrid’s six away matches, with the only exception being a 1-0 over a Getafe side who parked the bus with 24 per cent possession – a tactic that Liverpool simply won’t employ here.

Kylian Mbappe to score first /

Real Madrid’s free-scoring form has come largely through Mbappe, who has been unstoppable as a No. 9 with 18 goals in 14 games.

Mbappe has opened the scoring seven times for Real Madrid this season, including in three of his last four appearances.

Arda Guler to take 2+ shots /

Guler has been Real Madrid’s main creative outlet in Xabi Alonso’s system and has also been getting forward and having attempts on goal.

The Turkish playmaker has taken at least two shots in 11 of his 14 appearances this season, including in all three Champions League matches.
