Rennes to beat Montpellier & over 2.5 goals (14:00)

Rennes’ 3-3 draw with Fenerbahce in the Europa League on Thursday extended their unbeaten run to 13 matches in all competitions.

Bruno Genesio’s side have won four straight matches in Ligue 1, with three or more goals scored in each of them.

Montpellier have lost four on the spin and six of their last seven.

Union Berlin to beat Borussia Monchengladbach (14:30)

Bundesliga leaders Union Berlin got back to winning ways in the Europa League on Thursday, beating Braga 1-0 at home following a shock defeat at Bochum last weekend.

Union have won six of their last seven matches in all competitions, while they have dropped just two points in five Bundesliga home games. That sequence includes matches against RB Leipzig, Bayern Munich and Dortmund.

Gladbach, meanwhile, are winless on the road.

Freiburg to win to nil v Schalke (16:30)

Schalke are bottom of the Bundesliga and have lost six in a row in all competitions.

Thomas Reis’ side have scored the equal-fewest goals in the division, with 11.

Third-placed Freiburg have kept six clean sheets in 11, while their only defeat in 15 came against Bayern Munich earlier this month.

Lille draw no bet v Lyon (19:45)

Lyon have been disappointing in Ligue 1 this season and come into this in eighth.

Laurent Blanc’s side beat out-of-form Montpellier last weekend, but had taken one point from their previous six league games.

Lille have won three matches in a row and three of their last five on the road.

Real Sociedad to beat Real Betis (20:00)

Real Sociedad beat Omonia Nicosia 2-0 in the Europa League on Thursday, meaning they have won nine of their last 10 in all competitions.

In La Liga, that form translates to five victories in their last six, including three on the bounce at home.

Betis are without a win in four La Liga away games.
