Sunday Betting Guide: Our writers’ 5 best football tips 16 10 22

Adam Drury provides his football tips from Sunday’s action across Europe.

Chelsea to beat Aston Villa & under 4.5 goals (14:00)

Chelsea have won their last four matches, with under 4.5 goals landing in all of them.

The Blues have only conceded one goal in three league games under Graham Potter, shipping two in six across all competitions.

Under 4.5 goals has landed in all of Aston Villa’s nine league games this season, with Steven Gerrard’s side scoring four goals in their last six.

Arsenal to beat Leeds & over 1.5 goals (14:00)

Arsenal have won eight of their nine league matches this season, with over 1.5 goals landing in all of them.

The Gunners have won their last three matches 3-0, 3-1 and 3-2, with their three away victories coming by at least a one-goal margin.

Leeds are winless in five matches, losing three of them.

BTTS & over 2.5 goals in Real Madrid v Barcelona (15:15)

This bet has landed in four of the last five meetings between these teams, with the exception a 4-0 victory for Barcelona last season.

Real Madrid have scored 13 goals in six home games this season, scoring in all of them and conceding in four.

Barcelona have scored in their last seven league matches, notching 20 goals across those matches, so this is set up to be a classic.

Man City to beat Liverpool & Erling Haaland to score (16:30)

Haaland has scored in all of his last 10 Man City appearances and in all of his five away games this season.

Considering that Man City have won their last three league games 3-0, 6-3 and 4-0, combining these two outcomes at odds-against makes sense against any opposition.

Liverpool’s 7-1 win over Rangers on Wednesday should not paper over the cracks that have emerged this season. They have won just two of their eight league games, losing to Manchester United and Arsenal.

Napoli to beat Bologna & Victor Osimhen to score (17:00)

Osimhen returned from injury with a goal against Ajax on Wednesday evening, so is in line to start and score in this game.

The striker has posted an xG per 90 of 0.98 so far this season, the best of all Serie A players who have played a substantial number of minutes, and also ranks first for shots per game.

Napoli are in unbelievable form, winning their last nine games, so combining these two bets makes sense.
