BTTS & over 2.5 goals in Newcastle v West Ham (14:00)
BTTS landed in nine of Newcastle’s last 11 home matches of last season, with over 2.5 goals scored in seven of them.
One of those games was a 3-2 win over West Ham, while there were also scorelines of 2-2, 4-3 and another 3-2 during that run.
This bet also landed in five of West Ham’s last seven away games of last term.
Metz draw no bet v Nantes (14:00)
Nantes were the fourth-worst home team in Ligue 1 last season, winning just three of their 19 home matches, two of which were in their first three games.
They were also very lucky to draw 1-1 at Monaco last week, losing the shot count 15-5.
Metz drew 3-3 with champions Lille last week, and lost just six of their 19 away matches last season.
Atletico Madrid to beat Celta Vigo (16:30)
Champions Atletico Madrid finished last season brilliantly, winning four of their last five games to seal the La Liga title.
The capture of Rodrigo De Paul strengthens Diego Simeone’s side further and they are a nice price to take three points from a fixture that they won 2-0 last season.
Celta Vigo lost all their home matches against the top seven last term.
BTTS & over 2.5 goals in Barcelona v Real Sociedad (19:00)
Barcelona are in a mess and don’t have Lionel Messi to bail them out any longer, but surely still have the ability to score at least once against Real Sociedad on Sunday.
They scored 20 goals in eight games without Messi last season.
Ronald Koeman’s side conceded twice in three of their last four home games of last season, while Real Sociedad netted in all but three of their last 17 away matches.
Sevilla to beat Rayo Vallecano & under 4.5 goals (21:15)
Sevilla won six of their last seven home games of last season, with under 4.5 goals landing in all of them.
Julen Lopetegui’s side had the joint-best home defensive record in La Liga last season.
Ray Vallecano lost eight of their last nine away games of the 2018/19 campaign, their last in La Liga.
