EFL football tips for Saturday 31 10 20

Had you placed a £10 stake on Will Rook’s football tips every week this season, you would be £390 in profit.

Bournemouth to beat Derby

Derby’s winless run was extended to four matches after they surrendered a lead to draw 1-1 with Cardiff on Wednesday.

The Rams have managed one victory in 10 in all competitions this season.

Bournemouth currently occupy an automatic promotion spot and beat Bristol City 1-0 in midweek.

Millwall to beat Huddersfield

Millwall went third in the Championship on Wednesday as they beat Preston 2-0 away from home.

Gary Rowett’s side have only dropped two points in their last four league games.

Huddersfield made it back-to-back 2-1 defeats in midweek, having lost to both Birmingham and Preston in the space of five days.

Peterborough to beat Shrewsbury

Peterborough were held to a 2-2 draw by a stubborn Burton side on Tuesday, despite twice taking the lead.

But Posh had won six games on the spin prior to that draw, and can get back to winning ways here.

Shrewsbury dropped into the relegation zone in midweek after a 1-0 defeat to Fleetwood, their third straight loss.

Hull to beat Swindon

Swindon were beaten 2-1 by early-season relegation candidates Northampton on Tuesday, dropping to third-bottom in the table as a result.

Richie Wellens’ side have lost each of their last five games in all competitions and eight out of 10 overall.

Second-placed Hull have won seven of their nine league games and come into this having beaten Bristol Rovers 3-1 away on Tuesday.

Port Vale to beat Southend

This is a predictable leg to any EFL acca at the moment, but one that should come in with little drama.

Bottom-of-the-league Southend lost 2-1 to fellow strugglers Oldham in midweek and have picked up two points in their opening nine league games.

Port Vale climbed into the play-off positions following a 2-1 victory at home to in-form Cheltenham on Tuesday, which was their third win in four matches.
