Here are Will Rook‘s weekend football tips to help you on your way.

Blackpool to beat Derby (15:00)

Blackpool thumped struggling Birmingham 6-1 in their last match at Bloomfield Road and should win again here.

The Tangerines’ only defeats in their last nine at home have come against respective second- and third-placed sides Bournemouth and Nottingham Forest.

Already-relegated Derby were beaten 3-1 at home to Bristol City last weekend in their first game since their fate was confirmed, with manager Wayne Rooney opting to field a host of youngsters.

Nottingham Forest to beat Swansea (15:00)

Nottingham Forest’s charge for the Championship’s automatic promotion spots is on following their 1-0 victory away to Fulham in midweek.

That victory leaves Steve Cooper’s side three points behind second, while Forest have won eight of their last nine league games.

Swansea have drawn four straight matches, including a 4-4 at Reading in their last away game where they surrendered a 4-1 lead.

Bolton to beat Fleetwood (12:30)

Fleetwood need to match Gillingham’s result to secure their survival, but recent form suggests they are unlikely get anything from this.

Stephen Crainey’s side surrendered the lead to lose 3-2 at home to Sheffield Wednesday in midweek, while their only victory in 20 came against bottom-of-the-league Crewe earlier this month.

Bolton have won three straight matches and are unbeaten in seven.

Colchester to beat Walsall (15:00)

Neither side have anything to play for here, but there is still value to be had.

Colchester come into this on the back of ending Newport’s play-off hopes with a 2-1 away win – their sixth victory in 10 matches.

Walsall have lost three on the bounce away, are winless in seven and have managed one victory in 14 in all competitions.

Sutton to beat Bradford (15:00)

Sutton can cap off a remarkable first season in the EFL by securing a play-off spot with a victory here, providing other results go their way.

Matt Gray’s side beat Crawley 3-0 at Gander Green Lane in midweek and are unbeaten in 19 matches at home – the longest current run in English football.

Bradford laboured to a 2-1 victory over already-relegated Scunthorpe last weekend, which was a first win in seven for a side that is on the beach.
