EFL football tips for Saturday 29 10 22

Back Will Rook's 50/1 five-fold, which is made up of matches from the Championship, League One and League Two.

Stake a total of £25 on one or several accumulators of 2/1 or longer by 23:59 on Friday night to enter Betway’s Free Bet Club. You will earn one £5 free bet at 10:00 on Saturday and another £5 free bet at 10:00 on Monday.

Here are Will Rook‘s weekend football tips to help you on your way.

Millwall to beat Huddersfield

This looks like a great price to get with an in-form Millwall side, who have won four league games in a row.

Gary Rowett’s side have beaten four of the bottom five – including Middlesbrough and West Brom during their current run – with only Huddersfield remaining.

The Terriers are bottom of the league, having lost seven of their last 12 and are without a goal in back-to-back matches.

Watford to beat Wigan

Watford have been hot and cold this season, but come into this after pasting local rivals Luton 4-0 last Sunday.

The Hornets can go back into the play-off places with a victory this weekend and face out-of-form opposition.

Wigan have lost five of their last six matches and are just two points above the relegation zone.

Bolton to beat Oxford

Bolton have won three games in a row in all competitions, including back-to-back league games against Burton and Accrington.

Ian Evatt’s side are unbeaten in seven at home, winning six of those, while their only league defeat came against third-placed Sheffield Wednesday in August.

Oxford are one place and two points above the League One relegation places, having managed one victory in nine.

Stevenage to beat Colchester

Second-placed Stevenage have become a winning machine under Steve Evans.

Boro are second in League Two with 11 victories from 16 matches.

Second-bottom Colchester have lost five of their last seven and managed just two league victories all season.

Grimsby to beat Hartlepool

Hartlepool are bottom of League Two with nine points after 16 matches – the fewest of any team in the EFL.

Pools have lost five on the spin in all competitions and won two games out of 20.

Grimsby have won five and drawn one of their last seven away games in the league, so should be snapped up at odds-against.
