Here are Will Rook‘s weekend football tips to help you on your way.
Coventry to beat Swansea
Coventry look in decent nick, despite their off-field troubles, having won seven of their last 10 matches.
The Sky Blues lost 1-0 at play-off contenders Reading last weekend but back at home, where they have won four of their last six, they look a good price.
Swansea are winless in six matches and haven’t won in five away from home.
Preston to beat QPR
Preston hammered fellow play-off contenders Blackburn 4-1 in their first game back after the World Cup break last weekend.
Ryan Lowe’s side climbed into the play-offs on the back of that result, which was their fourth win in five matches.
QPR have lost four on the bounce and picked up one point in six games.
Bristol Rovers to beat Charlton
Charlton dropped to within four points of the League One relegation zone following a 1-0 defeat to Cheltenham a fortnight ago.
That result meant they were winless in six matches in all competitions and resulted in manager Ben Garner getting the sack. They followed it with a 3-1 defeat to League Two Stockport in the FA Cup last time out.
Bristol Rovers have won four of their last six matches in all competitions and have lost one in 11 in the league.
Leyton Orient to beat Sutton
League Two table toppers Leyton Orient are four points clear following a run of six victories in seven league games.
Richie Wellens’ side have won eight of their 10 home games this season and should make it nine here.
Sutton have lost nine away games out of 13 in all competitions this season.
Mansfield to beat Grimsby
Mansfield earned a creditable goalless draw away to second-placed Stevenage last weekend and come into this in fifth place.
The Stags have taken four points from their last two league games and can capitalise on the poor form of their opponents.
Grimsby beat out-of-form Tranmere 2-1 last weekend, but had taken two points from their previous six league games.
