Plymouth to beat MK Dons

Plymouth remain a point clear at the top of League One following a 3-0 win at home to Accrington last weekend.

The Pilgrims have won 10 of their opening 13 matches, including eight of their last nine.

MK Dons have been one of the division’s major disappointments and are third-bottom after five defeats in six.

Port Vale to beat Forest Green

Forest Green are fourth bottom of League One and were thumped 4-1 away to Peterborough in midweek.

Ian Burchnall’s side have lost four of their last five away games, including to the bottom two, Burton and Morecambe.

Port Vale won 2-1 away at Derby last weekend and have lost just two in eight in all competitions, against promotion candidates Sheffield Wednesday and Peterborough.

Peterborough to beat Wycombe

Peterborough hammered Forest Green 4-1 on Tuesday to record their fourth win in a five-game unbeaten run in all competitions.

Posh have netted at least three goals in each of those victories, so should be able to profit from a leaky Wycombe defence.

Wycombe have lost four of their last five, conceding three in two of those defeats.

Carlisle to beat Doncaster

Carlisle climbed into the play-off positions following a 3-1 victory over Hartlepool last weekend.

The Cumbrians are unbeaten in eight league games, while their only defeat this season has come against league leaders Stevenage.

Doncaster were beaten by previously-winless and fourth-bottom Hartlepool last time out on the road and their only victories in seven have come against the bottom two.

Leyton Orient to beat Northampton

Leyton Orient can end a two-game winless run here against another team that has had a good start but run into injury problems.

Richie Wellens’ side had won nine of their previous 10 prior to that blip.

Third-placed Northampton have lost back-to-back matches and could drop out of the automatic promotion places with a defeat.
