Swansea to beat Sheffield Wednesday
Swansea have taken 27 points from their last 12 league games – second only to league leaders Brentford – and have won six of their last eight.
Steve Cooper’s side are unbeaten in that eight-game period and are currently two points behind the automatic promotion places with a game in hand.
Relegation-threatened Sheffield Wednesday have picked up recently, with three wins from their last four, but none of their opponents have been of this standard.
Burton to beat Northampton
Burton have won two of their last three matches and, despite being bottom of the league, there are plenty of reasons for them to feel positive.
Both of those victories have come since the return of Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink as manager, the most recent of which came against second-placed Hull.
Northampton sacked manager Keith Curle this week, after a run of seven defeats in 11 matches and one goal in their last six left them second-bottom.
Oxford to beat Wigan
Oxford got their play-off charge back on track in midweek with a 2-0 victory away to Bristol Rovers.
That was the 10th victory in 11 matches for Karl Robinson’s side, who have lost just one of their last 15 in all competitions, against in-form Doncaster.
Fourth-bottom Wigan scraped a 1-0 win at fellow strugglers Northampton in midweek, but had lost three on the spin prior to that.
Shrewsbury to beat Ipswich
Shrewsbury come into this in the best shape they have been all season, having won seven of their last 10 matches.
Steve Cotterill’s side have beaten four of League One’s top five in that sequence and also came from behind to win 2-1 at home to Sunderland on Tuesday.
Ipswich lost 2-1 at Peterborough in midweek and have managed just four victories in 13.
Tranmere to beat Grimsby
Grimsby are bottom of the EFL after a run where they have earned two points in nine matches.
The Mariners were beaten 1-0 away to out-of-form Newport last weekend, despite their hosts playing over half of the game with 10 men.
They have the worst home record in the division, so a promotion-chasing Tranmere side that have won six of their last seven represent great value at odds-against.
