Here are Will Rook‘s weekend football tips to help you on your way.

Middlesbrough to beat QPR

Middlesbrough got off to a solid start with a 1-1 draw at home to West Brom last weekend.

With the inclusion of new signing Marcus Forss from the start, they should look even stronger at Loftus Road.

QPR lost 1-0 to Blackburn in their opener and won’t face many tougher opponents than this all season.

Derby to beat Charlton

Derby got off to a winning start in League One last weekend, with a late Conor Hourihane goal proving enough to beat Oxford 1-0 at Pride Park.

The Rams’ squad is stacked with quality that looks too good for this level, including Hourihane, James Chester, Nathaniel Mendez-Laing and David McGoldrick.

Charlton drew 2-2 with Accrington last weekend, despite having taken the lead in the 94th minute. This looks a big price for one of the league’s better sides to beat a mediocre one.

Peterborough to beat Morecambe

Peterborough put a disappointing first half behind them last week, turning round a two-goal deficit to beat Cheltenham 3-2 away.

Posh have one of the most fearsome attacking departments in League One, with Jack Marriott and Jonson Clarke-Harris both bagging at Whaddon Road.

They should do well against a Morecambe side who drew 0-0 with Shrewsbury last weekend and had the second-worst away record in League One last season.

AFC Wimbledon to beat Hartlepool

Hartlepool are bottom of the EFL after a 4-0 opening-day defeat away to Walsall.

Paul Hartley’s side managed two shots all game and were battered at the Bescot.

Wimbledon beat Gillingham 2-0 last weekend to record their first victory in 28 in all competitions and are a great price to notch another here.

Salford to beat Swindon

Swindon had a shocker on the opening day of the season, losing 3-0 away to an unfancied Harrogate side.

The Robins are clearly feeling the effects of losing their manager and three best players to Charlton, and could continue to do so.

Salford beat fellow promotion hopefuls Mansfield 2-0 at home last weekend and this looks a massive price.
