The LoL LCS Spring Split is still going strong. We take a look at what faces the NA region as we head into week five...
As we put a killer week four behind us, we respawn ahead of week five of the LCS Spring Split to take a look at what faces the incandescent NA region, at almost the half-way mark.
Here’s our take on the most interesting upcoming matches of the NA LCS.
Betway Picks
CLG v Immortals
Once again, we’re serving you up three underdogs who could well pull off a win, presenting a golden opportunity to cash in.
Immortals are currently ahead of CLG in the standings, despite a lacklustre performance so far, and are moderately ahead on overall K/D ratio too, at 1.5 to 1.1.
They do play with a slight advantage though, in the form of Dardoch.
We’ve seen him recently being targeted during the pick/bans stage, but his diversity has helped to secure better champions for the team, so they do have the upper hand in that respect.
If they want to beat CLG and pull away into the top half of the standings, they must improve their coordination, which has been their key obstacle so far.

Team Liquid v Team Dignitas
Let’s face it, Dignitas don’t have great stats right now, and have had an awful split. But it wasn’t supposed to be this way, as fans had high expectations of this talented line-up.
Dignitas really need to harness the momentum from their 2-0 victory over EnVyUs last week. Replacing Xspecial with Stunt seemed to help reinvigorate Dignitas’ game, so it might be wise to keep this line-up against Liquid.
In a split that’s been all about the jungle, we’re looking forward to seeing if Chaser’s aggressive style will hold up against vintage Reignover.
The latter has been practically carrying his team, so Chaser will need to work with Keane to exploit Liquid’s reliance on one player.

Immortals v Echo Fox
Finally, we’re once again willing to look favourably on Immortals. Call it a weak spot if you like.
Though their match-up against Echo Fox might look like a long shot, their first game of this split saw the two face off – and Immortals won.
Admittedly it was close run thing. The teams are fairly evenly matched in terms of win rates, standing at 47% to 50% in Echo Fox’s favour.
The key is likely to be whether Immortals can up their economic game. Echo Fox enjoy a huge gold differential at 15 mins lead over Immortals (+1530 to -766), and for most of their first series against one another, Echo Fox had a significant economic lead.
Just as in their match against CLG, team synergy and communication will be everything.
