Just how sharp are the stars of the Betway Premier League with arrows in their hands?
To find out, we’ve set a series of challenges on our alternate dart board – the Target Range – to put the players’ skills to the ultimate test.
The field of 10 has been split into two sides: England – containing Phil Taylor, Adrian Lewis, James Wade and Dave Chisnall – against Europe, boasting Michael van Gerwen, Raymond van Barneveld, Gary Anderson, Peter Wright, Kim Huybrechts and Jelle Klaasen.
After two rounds of the competition so far, it’s all square with everything to play for.
Now, in the third instalment of our four-part series hosted by PDC announcer John McDonald, the players are required to hit the targets in ascending order towards a winning total of 250.
The points system is simple: 25 for green, 50 for blue, 75 for red and finally 100 for yellow.
Taking on ‘250’ is Adrian ‘Jackpot’ Lewis and James ‘The Machine’ Wade for England, who must face the deadly Dutch duo of ‘Mighty’ Michael van Gerwen and Raymond ‘Barney’ van Barneveld representing Europe.
But who will get their team’s noses in front in the penultimate round of the competition?
