Here are four T20 World Cup betting tips that Adam Drury thinks you should consider when Pakistan meet Australia in the semi-final on Thursday.
Pakistan vs Australia betting tips & odds
Babar Azam to score over 27.5 runs
Babar has been sensational in this tournament, passing 50 in four of his five innings including in all of his last three.
He has also easily passed this mark in five of his six T20 innings against Australia.
Steve Smith to score over 18.5 runs
Smith has only batted three times in this tournament, but has passed this mark twice.
He may not be spectacular, but he is a solid bet to pass a low runs mark.
Glenn Maxwell player performance points: over 30.5
Maxwell has been used with the ball a fair amount in this competition, and one wicket would give him 20 of the 31 performance points required for this bet to land.
He hasn’t had much of an opportunity to get going with the bat, but it seems unlikely that this World Cup will pass without him making a significant contribution.
Shadab Khan to be Pakistan’s top wicket-taker
Australia’s opening pair of David Warner and Aaron Finch have been good in this competition, but their middle-order looks far more fallible.
Their weakness against spin means that fifth bowler Shadab Khan is a nice bet to back up his two wickets against Scotland last time out.
