Highest opening partnership: Perth Scorchers
Jason Roy and Liam Livingstone have formed a strong partnership at the top of the Scorchers’ order, putting on 123 and 76 in their last two matches.
The Heat’s opening pair haven’t put on that many in the entire tournament.
Liam Livingstone to score over 22.5 runs
With the lower runs mark of the two, Livingstone is the individual worth backing for runs.
He has scored 54 and 67 in his last two knocks, and seems to be in a nice groove.
Joe Burns to score over 19.5 runs
Burns has scored 52, 22* and 31* in three of his last four innings, suggesting that he has rediscovered some form after being dropped from Australia’s Test team earlier this month.
Needing just 20 to land us profit here, he is a good bet.
Mark Steketee to be Brisbane Heat’s top wicket-taker
Only Jhye Richardson (of the opposition) has taken more wickets than Steketee in the Big Bash.
He has taken at least two in four of his last five appearances, claiming more than two on two of those occasions.
