Here are four IPL betting tips that Guy Giles thinks you should consider for the match between Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings on Wednesday.

MI vs PBKS betting tips & odds

Mumbai Indians to win

Mumbai are one of two teams yet to win a game in the 2022 IPL, with losses to Delhi, Rajasthan, Kolkata and Bangalore putting them at the bottom of the table alongside defending champions Chennai.

They are sure to win soon though, and as betting underdogs against an inconsistent Punjab side, it’s worth backing them to get off the mark in this one.

Ishan Kishan to score over 23.5 runs

Kishan has underlined his status as one of India’s most exciting young players at the start of this tournament, passing this mark in three of his four innings to date.

He is a reliable source of runs at the top of the order for Mumbai, and if they are to secure their first win, he is likely to play a part.

Liam Livingstone to hit a six

Livingstone was at his devastating best in Punjab’s most recent match, smashing 64 off just 27 balls.

He has cleared the ropes at least once in all four of his innings so far, including nine across his last two visits to the crease.

Suryakumar Yadav to be Mumbai Indians’ top run-scorer

Yadav missed the first two matches of the tournament with a wrist injury but has performed well since, scoring 52 and 68* in his two appearances.

His consistency makes him a good bet in this market, particularly with captain Rohit Sharma struggling for runs at the moment.
