Here are Jack Green's four NBA picks to consider for Wednesday's game between the Phoenix Suns and Philadelphia 76ers.

Phoenix Suns to win

In what looks to be a fantastic game between two of the NBA’s best teams, Phoenix should come out on top.

The Suns are second in the Western Conference with a 41-16 record. They rank third in the NBA in net rating and their 18-7 road record is the best in the league.

The 76ers are 39-18 and have been formidable at home this season, but they’re coming off a 107-96 defeat to the Golden State Warriors on their own court and have now lost five of their last 12 games.

Philly is a rather disappointing 14-11 against Western Conference teams this season, while the surging Suns are 17-6 against teams from the East.

Under 221.5 points

The amount of offensive talent on show in this game would suggest it’ll be high scoring, but these teams both rank inside the top five in the NBA in defensive rating.

The under has landed in seven of the Sixers’ last eight games, with Philly averaging 106.9 points for and 103.5 against during that period.

Devin Booker over 26.5 points

Booker has been going through a quiet spell in terms of scoring recently, but he’s still averaging over 25 points per game this season and has an incredible record against the 76ers in his career.

The 24-year-old has scored 46, 32, 37, 37, 40, 35 and 36 in his last seven games against Philly dating back to 2018, so another monster performance could be on the cards here.

Chris Paul over 8.5 assists

Paul has averaged 8.8 assists per game this season and is worth backing to eclipse this mark on Wednesday night.

The Suns’ point guard has recorded nine assists or more in five of his last six games, and has averaged 9.8 assists per game over his last 11.
