Here are Jack Green‘s four NBA picks to consider for Thursday night’s game between the New York Knicks and Toronto Raptors.

New York Knicks (+9)

The Raptors are yet to get going this season, having lost all of their three opening games by a margin of at least five points.

This would have looked like an easy win for Toronto before the season started but the Knicks have impressed so far, going 2-2 including a 130-110 win over title contenders Milwaukee.

Under 216 total points

These teams both rank in the bottom half of the league in offensive rating this season, with the Knicks 21st and the Raptors dead last in 30th.

Two of Toronto’s three games so far have fallen short of this mark and this one should go the same way, given that the Knicks have the league’s fifth-lowest pace of play rating.

Julius Randle over 22.5 points

Randle has looked like a star for the Knicks over the first four games of the season, averaging 24.8 points per game and recording a triple-double in New York’s most recent win over the Cavaliers.

The Raptors have allowed three players to score 26+ points across their three games so far, and Randle is the most likely Knicks player to reach that mark here.

Pascal Siakam over 20.5 points

Siakam has scored 20 points in two of the Raptors’ three games so far and should have his best game of the season to date against the Knicks.

The power forward currently leads the Raptors with 18.7 field goal attempts per game, and he scored 23 and 31 points in two games against New York last season.
