The Toronto Raptors have competed in the Atlantic Division of the NBA Eastern Conference since 1995. And over the last 30 years, many notable names have blazed up the court. But which have recorded the most points?
1. DeMar DeRozan (13,296 points):
DeMar DeRozan was drafted by the Raptors in 2009. The USC graduate played a franchise record 675 games over the next decade before leaving for the San Antonio Spurs in 2018. Before leaving for the Spurs, though, he scored 13,296 points in 22,986 minutes, and is the all-time Toronto Raptors leading scorer.
Incidentally, DeRozan scored 4,716 field goals for the Raptors, another franchise high. He also set the bar, with the most free throws scored in the team’s history – an incredible 3,539.
2. Kyle Lowry (10,540 points):
Kyle Lowry joined the Raptors back in 2012 from the Houston Rockets. He played until 2021 and was a key member of the championship-winning team in 2019. In 601 games for the franchise, Lowry scored 10,540 points.
Impressively, Lowry is the leading 3-point scorer in Raptors history, too, with 1,518 field goals. His 873 steals and 16 triple-doubles are also franchise records. Finally, Lowry is a six-time NBA All-Star, making the team in each season between 2015 and 2020.
3. Chris Bosh (10,275 points):
The Toronto Raptors drafted Chris Bosh in 2003 from Georgia Tech, and he subsequently made 509 appearances – scoring 10,275 points. To this day, Bosh holds franchise records in several categories: he’s the leader in offensive rebounds (1369), defensive rebounds (3407), blocks (600), and more.
During his stint with the Raptors, Bosh made the NBA All-Star team between 2006 and 2010, and his first All-Star start came in 2007.
4. Vince Carter (9,420 points):
The Raptors received Vince Carter after trading with the Golden State Warriors in the 1998 draft; and, over the next six years, Carter played 403 games, scoring 9,420 points – making the NBA All-Star team from 2000 to 2004.
The North Carolina graduate still leads the way for points per game (23.4), field goals per game (8.8), and more in the Raptors’ history.
5. Pascal Siakam (8,875 points):
Pascal Siakam played for the Raptors between 2016 and 2024; and, in 510 games, he scored 8,875 points – making him the fifth all-time leading scorer for Toronto Raptors.
Siakam was drafted as a rookie in 2016 and started as many as 38 games that season. He was also assigned to the G-League team, Raptors 905, leading them to a title and winning the Finals MVP. Siakam was part of the Raptors’ NBA winning team 2019, and made the NBA All-Star twice, in 2020 and 2023.
6. Andrea Bargnani (6,581 points):
Andrea Bargnani played for Toronto Raptors between 2006 and 2013, scoring 6,581 points in 433 matches. Bargnani’s time with the team was full of ups and downs. He had injury and form issues; but became the focal point of the attack following Chris Bosh’s 2010 departure.
7. Morris Peterson (6,498 points):
Morris Peterson was drafted by the Raptors in 2000, and played for them until 2007. In 542 appearances, Peterson scored a strong 6,498 points – earning a place on the Toronto Raptors all time points leader list.
With time, it became evident that Peterson was not in the Raptors’ rebuilding plan, and he joined the New Orleans Hornets in 2007.
8. Fred VanVleet (6,090 points):
Fred VanVleet joined the Raptors in 2016, and, prior to his 2023 departure, scored 6,090 points in 417 games. Notably, he was a crucial bench player in the Raptors’ championship-winning campaign in 2019.
After 2019, VanVleet was a regular starter for the team – and, on in February 2021, VanVleet took the record for most points in a game for the Toronto Raptors, with an historic 54 points.
9. Jonas Valančiūnas (5,524 points):
The Raptors drafted Jonas Valančiūnas as a top prospect in 2011; and, during his time with the franchise, he made 470 appearances, scoring 5,524 points. A 32-point game against the Detroit Pistons in 2016 was his career best performance for the Raptors.
10. José Calderón (5,235 points):
Jose Calderon is 10th on the list of all-time Toronto Raptors scorers. He played for the franchise between 2005 and 2013, scoring 5,235 points in 525 matches. As for his own PB, Calderon scored a career high 30 points against the Lakers in February 2012!
Who’s scored the most 3-point field goals for the Raptors?
Kyle Lowry has scored the most 3-point field goals for the Raptors 1,518 from an attempted 4,031 which is also a franchise record.
Fred VanVleet is second on the list, with 1,000 3-point field goals from 2,684 attempts. Meanwhile, Lowry is 13th in the list of most 3-point field goals ever in the NBA (2025).
Who has made the most assists in Raptors history?
Kyle Lowry, as well as ranking second among the all-time leading Raptors scorers, has made the most assists in Raptors history with 4,277.
Jose Calderon is second with 3,770, and Fred VanVleet rounds off the top 3 with 2,199. Lowry makes the top 20 in the list of most assists in NBA history, too, with his tally of 7,099 across different teams.
