We examine the Super Bowl winner and NFL MVP betting markets and reveal which teams and players Betway customers are backing the most.
The start of the 2025 NFL season is just days away, and we can now reveal which teams have been the most backed to win Super Bowl LX, which takes place at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara next February.
The reigning champion Philadelphia Eagles are the joint-favourites in the NFL betting, and they have proven an attractive bet to lift the Lombardi Trophy once again this season.
Twelve per cent of all bets placed in Betway’s Super Bowl winner market have been on the Eagles, making them the most popular Super Bowl betting pick with Betway customers.
The Eagles’ season kicks off on Thursday night against their divisional rivals, the Dallas Cowboys.
After the Eagles, the Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens have received the joint-second most bets to win the Super Bowl, with 10 per cent each.
Buffalo beat Baltimore in the Divisional round of the NFL playoffs last season before the Bulls went on to lose to the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC Championship game.
The Chiefs have appeared in five of the last six Super Bowls, winning on three occasions, and eight per cent of bets have been placed on Kansas City to win again this season – the fourth-most of any team.
Rounding out the top five are the Cincinnati Bengals, who have received five per cent of the Super Bowl winner bets ahead of the new season. The Bengals beat the Chiefs on the way to the big game four years ago, but were beaten by the Los Angeles Rams.
