Premier League Tips: A 12/1 Bet Builder for Liverpool v Fulham

Our best bets for Saturday's evening clash in the Premier League between struggling Liverpool and Fulham include more dropped points for the hosts while a former Red is tipped to haunt his old club.

Liverpool have had a wretched week and, after being dumped out of the FA Cup and then losing 2-0 to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League, they can ill-afford another costly setback when returning to Premier League action at home to Fulham.

With a place in the top five at risk, though, Arne Slot’s out-of-form side might be in for more pain against the Cottagers, who are eyeing up a European place themselves.

We have put together a Bet Builder for the Anfield showdown on Saturday evening that pays out at 12/1 in our football odds.

More frustration for struggling Reds

Fulham have demonstrated how difficult a side they are to play against plenty of times already this season and up against a floundering Liverpool team they can earn a point at Anfield.

The Reds have endured a troubling week. Last Saturday’s 4-0 humbling at Manchester City sent them tumbling out of the FA Cup and then the 2-0 loss at PSG on Wednesday has probably ended their Champions League hopes for another year.

They were two pitiful performances from Slot’s side and, while they may avoid a third defeat in a row on Saturday evening, a draw will do little to stem the criticism being directed at their Dutch coach.

Leg 1: Draw @ 16/5

Red-hot Wilson to inflict pain on former club

Harry Wilson has had an outstanding season and it would rub salt into Liverpool’s wounds if their former player came back to haunt them this weekend.

Wilson has scored 10 league goals for the Cottagers this season and will surely relish a return to Anfield, where he struggled for opportunities during a three-year spell between 2018 and 2021.

The Wales international has been Fulham’s player of the season and netted in his side’s most recent game – a 3-1 win over Burnley before the international break.

Leg 2: Harry Wilson to score anytime @ 12/5

Isak can finally make an impact

Alexander Isak has had a season to forget for Liverpool following his huge summer move but, after recovering from a fractured ankle, made his long-awaited return from injury as a second-half substitute at PSG.

With the Reds’ other forwards, Hugo Ekitike, Cody Gakpo and Mohamed Salah, all struggling for form at the minute, Isak should get more minutes on Saturday and can have at least one shot on target against Fulham.

The Sweden international has managed just three goals in a severely injury disrupted season in which he’s been restricted to 17 appearances in all competitions.

But at least his return gives Slot more firepower in the final third for the run-in and the former Newcastle United ace will be eager to finally make a real impression in a Red shirt now he is fit again.

Leg 3: Alexander Isak 1+ shots on target @ 1/4
