Two teams at the opposite ends of the Premier League table meet at Anfield on Sunday afternoon, as top-four chasing Liverpool host struggling Spurs.
The Reds go into gameweek 30 in sixth place in the Premier League, but are only three points off third and will feel confident of securing a Champions League spot for next season as Arne Slot appears to have turned a difficult campaign around.
Tottenham, in contrast, look set to be eliminated from the Champions League, having lost their round-of-16 first-leg tie with Atletico Madrid 5-2.
More importantly, the Lilywhites are 16th in the Premier League, just a point clear of the relegation zone, so they head north on Sunday under huge amounts of pressure.
Here are our Premier League betting selections for the game and we have suggested a three-leg Bet Builder which will return at 14/1 if successful.
Liverpool v Spurs Bet Builder Tips
Hosts can enjoy another Anfield romp
These two sides are approaching their Anfield date in contrasting moods and the much more confident home side can dish out a hiding to their relegation-threatened visitors.
Liverpool would have been reasonably content to have left Galatasaray with a 1-0 Champions League defeat on Tuesday.
That is never an easy place to go and the Reds will expect to turn the tie around in the second leg, but the same can not be said about Spurs.
Losing 5-2 at Atleti has left the Londoners teetering on the brink of Champions League elimination, adding to the feeling of doom and gloom at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
They are just a point outside the relegation zone and their beleaguered followers will head to Anfield probably expecting to witness another defeat.
Leg 1: Liverpool to win @ 7/20
Ekitike ready to torment Spurs
The £125m spent on Alexander Isak in the summer is yet to yield much of a return – the Sweden international has been plagued by injury since signing – but fortunately for Liverpool the form of Hugo Ekitike has been consistently strong.
This wonderfully balanced French forward will be licking his lips about adding to his goals tally against such a vulnerable defence. Tottenham have lost six consecutive games, conceding 18 goals in the process.
Ekitike has scored 16 goals this season and all Liverpool’s best work goes through the former Eintracht Frankfurt striker, so expect him to get on the scoresheet on Sunday.
Leg 2: Anytime goalscorer – Hugo Ekitike @ 8/11
Reds to make merry against leaky defence
Liverpool have scored a total of 19 goals in their last five home games and the Anfield faithful will be expecting their side to demolish a Spurs team which is woefully low on self-belief.
Punters would not normally consider the over-6.5 goals option, but with the Reds likely to feast on goals and Tottenham having the potential to get a consolation or two, there seems every chance of a goal glut.
Tottenham were involved in a seven-goal match on Tuesday night and another one could be incoming on Sunday.
Leg 3: Over 6.5 goals @ 11/1
