Sunday’s EFL Cup final between Arsenal and Manchester City will hog the weekend headlines, but there is still plenty at stake in the Premier League and there are three televised matches to sit back and enjoy on Saturday.
Brighton and Liverpool get the action started from the Amex at lunchtime before Chelsea head to Everton at 5.30pm and Leeds entertain Brentford under the lights at Elland Road.

Goals should flow by the seaside
Liverpool turned on the style in Wednesday’s 4-0 win over Galatasaray in the Champions League, but they should be expecting a much tougher test away at Brighton.
The Seagulls will be the fresher of the pair and they made it three wins in four league games with last weekend’s gritty 1-0 success at Sunderland.
However, Fabian Hurzeler’s men have managed only three clean sheets in 15 home league matches and the Reds will still hold ambitions of challenging Manchester United for third.
The Merseysiders have already won to nil in home meetings with Brighton in the league and the FA Cup this season, but they have lost on three of their last five trips to the Amex, where both teams to score and over 2.5 goals has been a winning bet in the four recent rivalries.

Cottagers can add to Clarets’ gloom
It looks like only a matter of time before Burnley’s relegation from the Premier League is confirmed and Fulham can speed up the process with victory at Craven Cottage.
The Clarets have won only one of their last 21 league matches and failing to score in four of their last seven top-flight fixtures suggests that they are no longer up for the fight.
The Cottagers will still have their eyes on a top-half finish and they have collected 26 of their 41 points at Craven Cottage.

Wounded Blues may endure another setback
Liam Rosenior’s honeymoon period looks well and truly over at Chelsea and responding to an 8-2 aggregate defeat to Paris St-Germain in the last 16 of the Champions League could prove difficult.
The Blues have also won only one of their last five league games, a run which includes draws with Leeds and Burnley, so Everton should be hopeful of extending their misery.
The Toffees have taken time to adapt to their new surroundings at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, but they have won two of their last three league games, against Burnley and Newcastle, while were unfortunate to concede two late goals in last weekend’s 2-0 loss at Arsenal.

Leeds could sting the Bees
Leeds are only three points clear of the Premier League relegation zone, but they can ease their drop fears with a vital home victory over Brentford.
The Bees threw away a two-goal lead to draw 2-2 at home to bottom club Wolves on Monday and the Whites should see this as an opportunity having lost only three of their last 10 games at Elland Road.
It is also worth noting that when these two played out a 1-1 draw at the Brentford Community Stadium in December, Leeds dominated the shot count 18-7 and were extremely unfortunate not to take all three points.
