Both teams can strike on Tyneside
City are the favourites to win but Newcastle have a decent record against the visitors and this should be a competitive clash, so goals at both ends looks a strong possibility.
Both teams have scored in five of Newcastle’s last seven games, and they have failed to score only once.
Meanwhile, City have failed to score in just one of their last 12 and have now gone three games without a clean sheet.
Both teams have also scored in each of the last three meetings between these two sides at this venue, including November’s 2-1 home win for the Magpies in the league.

City scored 10 goals against Exeter at the weekend, but incredibly, Haaland wasn’t among the scorers, having played the first half before being withdrawn.
The Norwegian has managed five goals in his last six Premier League games and has been in strong form in cup competitions this season, netting six goals in as many Champions League games, making him the standout contender for an anytime effort in this last four tie.

The Brazilian averages 1.5 shots per game in the Premier League, with a shooting accuracy of just over 50 per cent.
In this competition, he has been more productive in terms of total efforts with nine shots in total across three games – all of which have been against Premier League rivals.
