We offer our best bets for Scotland's penultimate World Cup qualifier as they take on Greece in Piraeus.
Scotland helped put paid to Greece’s chances of qualifying automatically for the World Cup with a 3-1 win at Hampden Park in the last international break and the hosts will be hoping to repeat the trick in this reverse fixture on Saturday.
The two teams have met three times already in 2025 so the familiar foes will have no secrets from each other in what should be an enthralling clash at Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium in Piraeus.

High-scoring game on the cards
Scotland are level with Denmark on 10 points after four World Cup qualifiers and with the final game being against those opponents on Tuesday, they need a win against Greece to keep alive their hopes of qualifying automatically.
The Scots already have a play-off spot secured but would love to go into that final game with a chance of automatic progress, so will throw everything at Greece in this clash.
Scotland and Greece have met three times already this year, with Scotland winning two and the Piratiko being successful on one occasion.
Greece were extremely unfortunate not to win the reverse fixture, winning the shot count 15-8 and dominating Scotland for much of the game before Steve Clarke’s side battled back against the run of play to win 3-1.
The home side’s last seven games have all gone over 2.5 goals and this looks set to be no different, especially considering Scotland have a real issue in the goalkeeper position.
An injury to Angus Gunn means that 42-year-old Craig Gordon may be their first choice. Take over 2.5 goals in this one.
Leg 1: Over 2.5 goals @ 11/10
Tzolis a big threat for hosts
Christos Tzolis struggled as a young player at Norwich but he has flourished at Club Brugge, he already has six goals this season for his club.
The forward has netted eight times for his nation and scored against Scotland back in March. He is fancied to get on the scoresheet once more.
Leg 2: Christos Tzolis anytime scorer @ 5/2
McTominay stand out for visitors
Scott McTominay has been crucial to Napoli’s recent success, scoring 17 times for the Italian side since his move from Manchester United last summer.
The midfielder has 13 goals for his country and scored against these opponents at this ground back in March.
McTominay looks the likeliest route to goal for Scotland and he is fancied to find the net for his country once more.
Leg 3: Scott McTominay anytime scorer @ 10/3
