Premier League rivals Manchester City and Liverpool go head-to-head in the last eight of the FA Cup on Saturday.
City have their eye on more silverware this season after winning the Carabao Cup last month, while Liverpool are hoping to rescue a disappointing campaign by lifting the trophy for the first time since 2022.
We have put together a football betting Bet Builder for the Etihad tie that pays out at 9/1.
Manchester City v Liverpool Bet Builder
Manchester City to win @ 3/4
Both teams to score @ 8/15
Antoine Semenyo to score anytime@ 6/5
Erling Haaland to have 3+ shots @ 3/10
City too strong for inconsistent Reds
The Citizens have already beaten Liverpool twice this season – 3-0 at home in the league and 2-1 at Anfield – and they can make it a hat-trick on Saturday.
Pep Guardiola’s side were hugely impressive when winning the Carabao Cup at Wembley before the international break and they will now have their eye on a cup double.
The Reds have had a disappointing campaign and their only hope of resurrecting something positive out of it is triumphing in either the FA Cup or Champions League.
However, Arne Slot’s side have been far too inconsistent and look set to be in for a tough afternoon at the Etihad again.
Leg 1: Manchester City to win @ 3/4
Reds can get on the scoresheet
City are tipped to come out on top but Liverpool are capable of at least scoring on Saturday.
Slot’s men have only failed to score in one of their last 17 matches in all competitions and have the firepower with Mohamed Salah, Hugo Ekitike and Cody Gakpo to cause the hosts problems at times in this last-eight tie.
Leg 2: Both teams to score @ 8/15
Semenyo to prove a point
Antoine Semenyo has had a dream start to life at City since his January transfer from Bournemouth.
The winger was a top target for Liverpool but opted to make the switch to the Etihad and he can hurt his former suitors as he looks for his eighth goal in a Citizens shirt.
Leg 3: Antoine Semenyo to score anytime @ 6/5
Haaland will go goal goal-hunting
Erling Haaland has only scored once in his last six games for City, but he’s still managed 30 in all competitions this season and he is bound to cause Liverpool problems on Saturday.
Haaland regularly has three or more shots in City matches, doing so in four of his last eight appearances, and the last time he faced the Reds in the 2-1 win at Anfield in November, the striker scored once from a total of three shots.
Leg 4: Erling Haaland to have 3+ shots @ 3/10
Szoboszlai to lead the way for visitors
Dominik Szoboszlai is likely to be once again one of Liverpool’s better players on Saturday. In a difficult overall campaign for Slot’s side, the Hungary international has shone, trying to inspire team-mates who have failed to match his levels.
Szoboszlai has 12 goals this season, including two in the FA Cup and he loves to try his luck from distance and set-pieces.
The 25-year-old has had two or more shots in five of his last six appearances and can again have multiple attempts against City.
Leg 5: Dominik Szoboszlai to have 2+ shots @ 4/7
