FA Cup acca: A 7/1 four-fold for Saturday’s matches
FA Cup Saturday tips

There are a host of FA Cup matches taking place on Saturday and we have picked out a four-fold to cover the action.

The fourth round of the FA Cup takes place over the next four days, with two mouthwatering all-Premier League contests on Saturday evening.

Aston Villa host Newcastle United in a dinner-time clash at Villa Park, before Liverpool hosts Brighton at Anfield in the final match of the day.

Last season’s FA Cup winners, Crystal Palace, were knocked out of the competition by Macclesfield in the third round, so the famous trophy will head elsewhere after the final in the middle of May.

Manchester City, who face Salford City at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday, are favourites to win the FA Cup.

We have put together an accumulator for the Saturday FA Cup matches which pays more than 7/1.

Saturday’s FA Cup tips

  • Southampton to beat Leicester @ 4/5

  • Burnley to beat Mansfield @ 2/5

  • Aston Villa to beat Newcastle @ 23/20

  • Liverpool to beat Brighton @ 8/15

Saints set to rub salt into Foxes’ wounds

Leicester City are a club in crisis, having just been docked six Championship points for breaching profitability and sustainability rules, and Southampton are adding to the Foxes’ woes.

Leicester lost 2-1 at Birmingham in the immediate aftermath of their points deduction, but they rallied to go 3-0 up at home to Southampton on Tuesday night. After an hour of that game, Leicester retained their three-goal lead, but Southampton launched an incredible comeback to triumph 4-3.

Leicester have lost their last four Championship games, interim manager Andy King seems out of his depth, and they are facing the same opponents who humiliated them at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday.

Expect the Saints to march to victory.

Leg 1: Southampton to beat Leicester @ 4/5

Buoyed Burnley can outclass their visitors

A Wednesday-night 3-2 victory at Crystal Palace has injected a huge amount of confidence in the Burnley side, particularly as they had to fight back from 2-0 down to get the result at Selhurst Park.

The three points from London have resurrected Burnley’s hopes of avoiding relegation and put Scott Parker’s men in a positive mood for their FA Cup meeting with Mansfield. Burnley crushed Championship side Millwall 5-1 at Turf Moor in the last round of the Cup and can provide similar treatment to League One Mansfield on Saturday.

Leg 2: Burnley to beat Mansfield @ 2/5

Villa to thrive at their fortress yet again

Aston Villa have lost only three home games in all competitions this season, which is an incredible record given they have hosted 17 teams, including Europa League opponents. Manchester City and Arsenal have already visited Villa Park – and Unai Emery’s side beat them both.

Villa bolstered their fantastic home record by beating Brighton on Wednesday night. Newcastle, who have won just one of their last eight domestic matches, look vulnerable for their trip to the Midlands.

Leg 3: Aston Villa to beat Newcastle @ 23/20

Reds are looking more like champions again

Liverpool are getting their swagger back, winning three of their last four games, and the Reds can continue their revival by beating Brighton at Anfield.

Arne Slot’s men are looking more united and more dangerous, with Mo Salah back in the fold, and Brighton, who have gone five games without a victory, should be eliminated from the FA Cup on Saturday night.

Leg 4: Liverpool to beat Brighton @ 8/15
