As food culture continues to dominate North America, Betway has uncovered the best places to live for pizza lovers across the U.S. and Canada.
With National Pizza Pie Day approaching, new research from online casino Betway highlights where the true pizza hotspots are in the United States and Canada.
From iconic pizza institutions to trendy slice shops, the number of options has never been higher – but that also mean that competition has never been steeper. Perhaps the same could be said about prices!
While New York City tops the American rankings despite being the most expensive location, it’s far from the only destination bursting with exciting pizza options. Chicago, Los Angeles and Las Vegas are among those who lodge remarkably impressive numbers across the board for a cheaper price.

Methodology
Desk research was completed to identify and analyse the top pizza cities in the United States and Canada.
Cities were ranked using:
the number of pizza restaurants on TripAdvisor
the number of 4+ star pizza restaurants on TripAdvisor
the number of ‘elite’ pizza parlours – i.e. those listed on Top Fifty Pizza
These values were added together. Then, from this value, an indexed value based on each city’s average pizza cost (as per Numbeo) was subtracted, revealing a final score.
*Scores were capped at 99.50, New York’s mathematical score may exceed this.
