Here are five bets Guy Giles thinks you should consider for France v Italy, which kicks off at 15:00 on Sunday.

France (-25.5)

France were impressive in their opening win over England last week, while Italy were thrashed 42-0 by Wales.

France beat Italy by 28 points in their most recent meeting, a World Cup warm-up back in August.

1st half Handicap – France (-12.5)

France raced to a 17-0 half-time lead over England in Paris last weekend before fading in the second half.

Italy, meanwhile, trailed by 21 at the break in their opener against Wales.

First tryscorer: Vincent Rattez

Rattez opened the scoring after just six minutes against England, having been drafted into the team following an injury to Damian Penaud, and will continue to deputise this week.

If you successfully back him to score first and he goes on to score another, then Betway will double your winnings in cash.

Anytime tryscorer: Teddy Thomas

Thomas has scored 10 tries in 17 international appearances, and twice came close to scoring against England last weekend.

He starts on the left wing once again for France on Sunday.

Highest scoring half: 2nd

There have been more points scored in the second half in the last six meetings between these sides in the Six Nations, and in the last eight overall.
