TOP PICK: ANOTHER FRONTIER
Second choice: Militarian
It will take just under an hour to scoop £10,000 on Saturday and we start in Yorkshire on Town Moor.
This is a staying handicap chase with 18 fences to negotiate over a three mile trip.
Course and distance winner ANOTHER FRONTIER has a nice mark and can continue his great form.
The only blot on his recent copybook is his unseat at Cheltenham in October.
Without that U, his form figures for 2018 would read 1212. He also fits the profile of recent winners of this race.
TOP PICK: COEUR BLIMEY
Second choice: I'm a Game Changer
This is one of two races in the competition from our Betway sponsored card at Newbury.
This handicap hurdle has a number of big stables represented by some good horses.
COEUR BLIMEY was a winner at Hereford two weeks ago, before not turning up at Wincanton on Boxing Day due to travel problems.
That bypassed run will ensure he is on song for this competitive little race.
Lucy Gardner takes a valuable 3lb of from the saddle and this horse will take some stopping if performing anywhere near the level of that Hereford run.
TOP PICK: TELLOVOI
Second choice: Diamond Pursuit
We stay with the Betway-sponsored racing, but this time on the All-Weather at Southwell.
Course-and-distance winner TELLOVOI looks a class above these on his best form, although those days are fewer and further between at his old age of 10.
He has at least seven years of experience on the majority of his rivals here.
TOP PICK: SANDY BEACH
Second choice: Carole's Destrier
A Betway-sponsored staying handicap chase in which 21 fences are jumped. This will take some winning.
SANDY BEACH scored over this distance at Uttoxeter last month, adding to his very good chase record, with completed starts including 10 finishes in the first three, including four victories.
King George hero Harry Cobden takes the ride, and he’s in superb form with another eight winners on top of that big Kempton victory in the last fortnight.
