14:30 LINGFIELD

We'll kick things off with the Fillies’ and Mares’ Championships where I really like the chances of CROSSING THE LINE  for the in-form Andrew Balding.

She’s won six from a possible 11 and four of her last five, including a hard-fought victory last time out ahead of Cardsharp and Glendevon.

The four-year-old’s tasted success here last May over 7f when she powered home ahead of Kaser, who was an odds-on favourite. That’s solid form, and I think she’ll go well here.

Next up is the Three-Year-Old Championships where I’m drawn to Mark Johnston’s DEEP INTRIGUE .

He’s only finished outside the top two twice, notching four victories from eight.

A course-and-distance victory over Hugo Palmer’s James Street in January was impressive, and he was denied by a neck last time out to Fanaar in the Spring Cup.

Danny Tudhope is in the saddle and picked up a nice win on Great Dame on Thursday at Ripon, so I’m hoping he continues that good run of form.

Across to Bath now for a Listed contest between fillies and mares where I think QUEEN OF DESIRE  is the one to catch.

She’s won three on the bounce, all of which were over 5f, with two of those victories coming on this course by a combined distance of 10 lengths.

This Dubawi filly has a lot of potential and I think she looks a good bet here.

Finishing off with some handicap action and JACBEQUICK  is the standout option in this field for me.

David Pipe took over the reins of this eight-year-old last September and tried his luck over hurdles, but only managed one win and a second from nine.

He’s back on the flat now, where his previous form under David O’Meara made superb reading (211-12).

Proven over the distance and with Finley Marsh’s 3lbs claim to help the handicap, I think he’s got a good chance.
