14:25 MUSSELBURGH

Mark Johnston had the winner in this race last year with Book Of Dreams and I think he's got a great chance again with REGGAE RUNNER  .

He's proven over this distance with a commanding victory at Lingfield last time out, and was also narrowly beaten by odds-on favourite Wings Of Time at Wolverhampton in February.

Joe Fanning has a decent record on this course and looks a nice price here.

14:40 HAYDOCK

Across to Haydock for a Betway-sponsored race where I think THE PADDY PIE   looks the one to beat.

His form in 2019 has been solid (311-22), including a tidy victory on this course in February.

He was slightly off the pace last time out behind Pain Au Chocolat but I think the step up in trip will help here and he should get back to winning ways.

15:15 HAYDOCK

The Betway Challenger Stayers' Hurdle is up next and, in a very open field, I'm going to take a punt on DJANGO DJANGO .

The six-year-old is used to these handicap fields and has picked up two notable wins at Huntingdon and Chepstow.

Jonjo O'Neill Jr has a decent record on board with two wins and a second from five rides, so I'm hoping he can get him back in front after disappointing here last time out.

15:35 MUSSELBURGH

We finish with the Queen's Cup Stakes where I think ULSTER   looks the one to beat.

The four-year-old has two wins and two seconds from five so far, and was beaten by a head last time out to Busy Street.

His runner-up spot at Wolverhampton was boosted by the fact he was nine lengths ahead of Alan King's Elysees, which reads good form.

Archie Watson had the winner here last year with Brandon Castle and I fancy his chances of repeating that triumph again.
