Liverpool to win and over 3.5 goals –

Liverpool have won their first league match at Anfield the last five seasons in a row, and twice beat West Ham 4-1 last season.

With a total of 13 goals in their two opening-weekend matches under Jurgen Klopp, it’s fair to expect plenty more entertainment on Sunday.

West Ham to score exactly one goal

An impressive transfer window means West Ham are more than capable of breaching the Liverpool defence once again.

The Reds, however, only conceded a total of 10 home league goals during the whole of last season, so they’ll do well to score twice.

Sadio Mane to score –

Mane always starts the season fast, having scored on his debut for Liverpool at the Emirates and all three of their league matches in August last year.

A goal in the Champions League final, another at the World Cup and strikes against both Manchester City and United during pre-season suggests he’s ready to hit the ground running again.

Over 2.5 West Ham cards –

West Ham were the joint-most booked team in the Premier League last season, and they’re unlikely to lose that combative edge under Manuel Pellegrini.

Only Spurs, Villa and Sunderland received more yellow cards than Man City during his three years in England, so a couple of cautions for the Hammers in one of their tougher games this season looks safe enough.
