Weekend football betting review: England hammer Bulgaria
We review our tips from the international weekend, including a very successful Saturday for win/draw/win, BTTS and anytime goalscorer picks.
How our writers' tips got on
All five of our Saturday win/draw/win tips came in on Saturday, kicking off a great day of tipping.
Firstly, Coventry (5/4), Wycombe (6/4) and Cheltenham (6/5) did the business in League One and League Two.
Later on, England overcame the -3 handicap by beating Bulgaria 4-0 at Wembley (7/4), before Iceland beat Moldova to nil (7/8).
There was mixed success with the BTTS tips. Wycombe v Lincoln (4/5) landed, but Grimsby v Crewe (8/11) finished 2-0 to the visitors.
Our anytime goalscorer tips were also profitable.
Though Bradford's James Vaughan (7/5) failed to score, both Coventry's Matt Godden (2/1) - our biggest winner of the day - and Crawley's Bez Lubula (13/8) hit the net.
Will Rook's EFL five-fold also landed at 58/1.
The accumulator included the three aforementioned EFL win/draw/win tips, plus Crewe (8/5) and Mansfield (17/20).
Things weren't quite as easy on Sunday.
Neither Romania (15/8) nor Switzerland (7/5) were able to overcome their respective -3 and -5 handicaps, while Greece conceded a late goal to Liechtenstein to surrender their win to nil (1/3).
But we did recoup some of our losses as BTTS landed in Sweden v Norway (11/10).
