BTTS in Middlesbrough v Brentford, Atletico to win & under 4.5 goals, Over 2.5 goals in Vitesse v Feyenoord: £10 at 19/5*

I have a nagging feeling that I should have been more ambitious here as there are a few picks that I like, but these are three I’m particularly confident in.

Middlesbrough have scored in six consecutive home matches, while Brentford have scored in 12 of their last 13, so there should be goals at the Riverside.

Atletico have won 15 of their 19 home matches this season, but only one of those victories have featured five or more goals. Leganes have lost nine of their 15 away games this season, but only the defeat at Real Madrid featured more than four goals.

Vitesse’s last five matches have finished 2-1, 3-2, 2-2, 3-2 and 4-1, while Feyenoord have scored in all but one of their last seven away from home. This was available at a considerably bigger price than BTTS.

Luton to win and over 1.5 goals and Sunderland, MK Dons, Mansfield and Bury all to win: £10 at 32/1*

I’m going big and borrowing heavily from my weekly EFL five-fold this weekend in a bid to overhaul clubhouse leader Drurs and, to be honest, I can’t see it not coming in.

Luton are on a club record 22-game unbeaten run in the league and only two of those matches have seen fewer than two goals. At odds-against, I fancy them against strugglers Plymouth.

Sunderland have won four on the spin and should easily beat Wycombe, who have lost their last four.

In League Two, MK Dons are also on a four-match winning streak and should be backed to beat second-bottom Macclesfield.

Port Vale are bottom of the form table, having picked up just five points in their last 10 games, and I can’t see the visit of promotion-chasing Mansfield yielding anything.

Finally, Bury are top of the form table and should round this bet off away to Stevenage, who are winless in four.

Crystal Palace and Young Boys to win, Dortmund to win & over 1.5 goals, Atletico to win to nil: £10 at 7/1*

I had a 7/1 shot come in last weekend so we’re going again.

Brighton came through with me against Huddersfield as part of that acca. They haven’t been great away from home, though, so I fancy Palace, who are in decent form.

Dortmund have won all 12 of their Bundesliga home games this season, scoring twice in every one, so a win over Stuttgart with over 1.5 goals looks a safe bet.

Young Boys have won 11 of their last 12 Swiss Super League games, and now face an awful Grasshopper side who have lost seven of eight.

Finally, Atletico have conceded only to Real Madrid in their last six home league games, and should see off Leganes comfortably.

West Ham to beat Cardiff: £10 at 11/10*

It’s been a while since West Ham won away from home, but their recent form is decent. They have lost just one of their last five league matches, winning two of the last three.

Manuel Pellegrini’s side are worth backing against Cardiff, who have lost three successive matches, including their last two at home.
