Table-toppers Brighton can do the business in 70/1 midweek five-fold

Look past the Champions League and turn to the Championship for Tuesday night’s best bets

9/10 – Brighton to beat Bristol City

Brighton have been irresistible this season and represent stunning value at just under evens to down Bristol City.

The hosts have won four of five games at the Falmer Stadium and remain the only unbeaten side in the league.

Contrastingly, 21st-placed Bristol City have endured a season of struggles, winning just once on the road.

Robin’s manager Steve Cotterill will hope Friday’s 2-0 victory against Forest will kick-start a revival, but the result does little to hide the fact that his side have lost three of the last four games.

9/4 – Bolton and Birmingham to draw

Despite being bottom of the Championship table, Bolton are unbeaten at the Macron Stadium and have enough about them to gain a point against the impressive Birmingham.

Neil Lennon’s side are turning into the division’s draw specialists, sharing the points on five occasions already this campaign.

Those thinking Tuesday’s encounter may be one-sided should note that Birmingham have only won one more game away from home than they have drawn this season.

8/5 – Burnley to beat Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest are statistically the fourth-worst home team in the Championship and their woes at the City Ground should continue against Burnley on Tuesday.

The Clarets have been efficient on their travels this season, losing just one of five games and winning two from their last three.

Sean Dyche’s side have won seven of their last 11 encounters with Forest and will be confident of another three points on Tuesday.

11/10 – Huddersfield to beat MK Dons

Despite only goal difference separating Huddersfield and MK Dons in the table, the home side should record a comfortable win when the two clubs clash on Tuesday.

After a positive start to the season, MK Dons have collapsed in recent weeks, losing five of their last seven games.

With two wins and just one defeat from their last five fixtures, Huddersfield are likely to capitalise on Karl Robinson’s confidence-drained side.

11/10 – Reading to beat Rotherham

Following last season’s relegation battle, Rotherham are struggling again and look vulnerable going into Tuesday night’s clash with Reading.

Worringly for the Millers, Reading have won their last four matches in succession.

Rotherham’s defence is the second-weakest in the Championship, which does not bode well against an attacking Royals side.
