Everton v Fulham: Aleksandar Mitrovic

Everton have gone behind in each of their last three league games, including at home strugglers Huddersfield at the start of the month.

And looking at Fulham, Mitrovic is the obvious – but correct – option.

The Serbian is the top scorer in the Premier League, having netted five of his side’s eight league goals this season, and will torment an Everton defence yet to keep a clean sheet.

Will Rook

Chelsea v Liverpool: Mohamed Salah

Liverpool have scored first in all eight matches they have played this season – including Wednesday’s 2-1 EFL Cup defeat to Chelsea – and I fancy them to do so again against the same opponents on Saturday.

Salah is the obvious pick. He is certain to start after being on the bench for most of that midweek clash and has opened the scoring for the Reds twice already this season.

Tom Bowles

Cardiff v Burnley: Matej Vydra

Cardiff have scored just three goals in six league games so far, failing to net against Bournemouth, Newcastle or Huddersfield, so aren’t worth considering here.

And after he netted on his first Premier League start for Burnley last weekend, Vydra looks the best shout to do the business for the visitors.

The Czech, who scored against Cardiff for Derby in April, is a streaky player, but can be unplayable when playing with the confidence that he is now.

Adam Drury

Bournemouth v Crystal Palace: Wilfried Zaha

Bournemouth were so poor in their 4-0 defeat to Burnley last week that I’m steering clear of them on this occasion, even though they’re at home.

For that reason, Zaha is the only choice.

Palace’s talisman has scored three times already this season – one of which was the opening goal of the game – and he’s now bagged eight goals in 11 Premier League appearances dating back to last season.
