Sergio Aguero to score

Aguero’s tally of five Premier League goals this season is second only to Eden Hazard, and he’s found the net in three successive games in all competitions.

The Argentine has scored in the league against Liverpool in each of the last four seasons, and is a good bet to keep that run going this weekend.

Trent Alexander-Arnold to be carded

Alexander-Arnold has been booked three times in seven Premier League appearances this season, the most of any Liverpool player.

The 19-year-old was carded in two of his three appearances against City last term and should be in for a difficult one-on-one battle with Leroy Sane on Sunday.

Jordan Henderson to be carded

There were at least five cards shown in all four of the meetings between these teams last season, so it’s safe to assume this one will be fiery.

Henderson was booked the last time these teams played at Anfield, and he’s almost certain to start this weekend after Naby Keita was suffered a back injury against Napoli in midweek.

Over 9.5 total corners

There has been an average of 11.29 corners in Manchester City’s Premier League games this season, the second-most in the top flight.

Sunday’s game should be all about attacking, so it’s likely that the corner count will reach double figures.
