Here are Tom Clee‘s football betting tips for the Chelsea v Manchester City on Saturday evening.
Manchester City to win & under 3.5 goals
City have already beaten Arsenal and Tottenham away from home, and were a missed penalty from doing the same to Liverpool.
All of those games had under 3.5 goals, as did both of their 1-0 victories over Chelsea last season, so this feels like the safest way to go.
Riyad Mahrez to score
Mahrez seems to be one of Pep Guardiola’s big-game players, having started against Arsenal, Liverpool, Spurs and Manchester United.
He’s been used sparingly of late, so ought to feature from the off, and has more away goals for City than any other player this season.
Both teams to get over 1.5 cards
City have the best disciplinary record in the division, though seven of their 15 bookings came in those games away to Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs.
Chelsea have picked up 13 yellows in their last six games, and will surely need to resort to a few dark arts to try and contain the league leaders.
Antonio Rudiger to be booked
Rudiger has been booked three times in his last six games for Chelsea, including against Man United and Tottenham.
He also trod a fine line at the Etihad towards the end of last season, committing a number of fouls either side of getting booked just before the hour mark.
